Like the most of us I find it extremely annoying when my
phone runs out of battery, and let’s face it on an iPhone you listen to a few
good tunes on Spotify and then your battery is in the red saying 10 % already. All
of the planning and research that goes into making these phone computers, why
can’t they just make them so that they have a battery life that lasts at least
48hours… is it too much to ask, really?
This year alone I have brought at
least four iPhone charges- no joke, granted they weren’t all real Apple cables
but most of them were, and who wouldn’t prefer to pay £3 for a cable opposed to
a whopping £15 a pop! It seems that Apple has woken up and smelt the coffee with regards to the prices of their chargers, slashing the price by 50%. But, when you buy charges like the way
I have been it all quickly becomes a heck of a lot of money, and for a what? A
USB cable that doesn’t even include the plug!
Nether the less, we can all now rest assured in knowing that the
launch of an in genius phone charger concept will ensure that mine and your phones
are booming with battery life all of the
time. CDFA which is Vogue’s charity fund and eBay have partnered up to
bring out a limited edition bracelet that you can charge your phone with. It
comes with adapters for Android and Blackberry’s, so matter your device you
won’t be limited to your standard cable. This charger bracelet will give
you that extra piece of mind, where you don’t have to constantly think or know
where your charger is. The charger is worn on the wrist so it would be pretty
hard to lose it or even get it pinched. I love the niffy charger, it looks
great and is available in an array of stylish designs with graphic prints that you actually wouldn't mind being on
your wrist all day every day. For the fashion conscience this is perfect
because it will keep your fashion street cred intact.
There are five designers behind the bracelet, Mara Hoffman,
Michael Bastin, Milly, Rachael Zoe and Stripley and Holmes. It came out on the
11th of November and would make sweltering Xmas present or cute
stocking filler that you would just love. They retail at about £15.00 and all of the
proceeds go to CDFA fund.
What do you think are you going to invest in one of these,
or are you thinking to get one for a thoughtful Christmas present?
