I’m not really one to recommend downloading apps mostly
because the ones I’ve already downloaded I barely even use except like What's app...you can just end up forgetting about them and they can take up so much unnecessary on my phone which could be valuable space for music.
However, this week
I’ve discovered a couple of hidden gems, Fashion apps that will elevate your online shopping experience whilst being the perfect got to for quick boredom relief for whenever your waiting in the doctors or for the great British public transport to turn up.
First up for IOS and Android users is a new free to download
app from Harrods called Stiletto Wars. The app might just leave you
feeling like somewhat of a gaming addict, where I’m sure its gaming powers could easily take over the ‘Angry
Bird’ epidemic.
The launch of Stiletto Wars app comes in conjunction with the launch
of Harrods new shoe salon. Stiletto Wars is basically Candy Crush but with sexy designer heels .The app is real cool, it’s fun and for that geek chic kinda girl that
loves that perfect combination of fashion and tech.
Shoeaholic’s! You will be the most impressed as you could potentially end up winning a pair of the dreamy shoes that retail at around £500 a pop! All
you have to do is submit your score into the leader board to be in with the
chance of winning a Harrods gift card and VIP shopping experience for two.
I bet your thinking well, what if you've not got a smart
phone? Rest assured, until September 22nd you can play Stiletto Wars game in a giant installation window at Brompton Road.
For those of you that are fully equipped with either smart
phones or tablets you can access the game via the September Issue Harrods
Magazine which is free to download from Harrods
Magazine app.
Next on the list to download is a brand new app. Farfetch today released a travel app
called Farfetch Discover. The app packs
quite a punch with some amazing features. The unique little app doesn’t just
allow you to virtually travel and shop over 300 boutiques and over 2,000 designers’
brands.
The app also allows you to discover a treasure trove of travel tips and
secret locations in all the world-class cities around the globe, which has all
been neatly formulated by Farfetch boutique partners and fashion insiders like blogger Man Repeller.
The app is certainly that of unique. Farfetch
Discover is able to give the user handpicked
recommendations which are ones that only a local could provide, where you can unlock a world of culture and style in which users can browse
curated city guides and create bespoke itineraries that are all fully integrated
with Google iMaps.
Check them out and let me know what you think!
