• The Best thing since Sliced Bread: Acne x Liberty

So, one of my favourite fashion brands and department stores have joined forces to bring you the most electric capsule collection of the season.  This collaboration is a dreamy match made in a printed fashionista heaven.

Swedish brand Acne in my opinion is one the coolest fashion labels on earth where every season I can’t stop myself from pinning their collections onto my wish list Pinterest boards. This is an exciting move for the label and a hard one to follow because last year we saw Kenzo burst onto the scene with a Liberty collab that was intensely great.

The designer collaborations that Liberty is doing with contemporary brands really allows the quintessentially British store to be more diverse in the products they sell while appealing to a younger affluent audience. This is a great initiative for Liberty to continue where they should be able to retain a new customer loyalty base, which is especially pleasing to see after the embarrassing backlash over a channel 4 documentary Liberty of London which they had hoped would revive their fortune.

The collection is summer chic in every sense. All of the pieces in the collection have a print very unique to this range where much of these print are featured on leather pieces. The print itself in the capsule collection even has history. The paisley print is inspired by Japanese art and was created all the way back in 1890 and 1910. This collection is a perfect combination of contemporary and classic which formulates an impeccable iconic range.

I absolutely love all of the pieces in this collection each piece will make a statement in its own right. All of the intricate detailing is just beautiful too with some of the pieces blinging with Swarovski attitude.
The collection is distinctive yet very timeless. Purchasing a piece from the Acne x Liberty range would be a worthwhile investment because it’s such a special exclusive buy and  if you kept it in good condition it would probably be worth more money as vintage.

Hats, sunnies, loafers and scarves are the more affordable pieces the collection offers,  where any piece will deliver depth and texture to your style.

All of this collection is readily available at www.acne.com. What do you think? I desperately want the leather jacket although my bank balance doesn't!
