• Alexander McQueen: The Most Memorable Shows

In just a few months the Victoria & Albert Museum will be throwing open the doors to Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty. The exhibition that broke records for New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art (and had to be extended to meet demand) is finally coming home, to the city where McQueen himself worked. So we’ve decided to look back at 10 of his most iconic and ground-breaking shows; while we usually concentrate on fashion tech, there's no denying that McQueen was a visionary in the truest sense. From the hologram of Kate Moss that closed his ‘Widows of Culloden’ show, to the post-apocalyptic Plato’s Atlantis, his collections were some of the most inspiring - and forward-thinking - in the history of London Fashion Week.
